The Pembroke Corgi is low-set, strong and has a sturdy build (giving the impression of BIG substance in a small space). They are one of the most agreeable small house dogs, as well as an avid competitor in many dog sports such as conformation, herding and obedience. Their temperament is often described as fun loving, energetic, and adventurous.
The Pembroke Corgi is a separate breed from the Cardigan Corgi. Pembroke Corgis possess a shorter body and straighter, lighter boned legs. Their ears are pointed at the tip and stand erect, and they have a short tail (which is often docked). The coat can be red, sable, fawn, black and tan with or without white markings. Maine Aim Ranch corgis are very lovable and fun. Who can beat a Corgi smile? Our bred Corgis puppies' average weight is 20lbs.
