ZARA: Here’s a special young girl we’re helping a friend place into the right home. 🤍🐾

Her name is Zara, and she is just as beautiful as she sounds — a blue-eyed Pomsky with a stunning plush blue coat. She was born on 9/28/2025, so she’s right around a year old.

Zara has a wonderful temperament. She gets along great with other dogs, has been raised around cats (and does amazing with them), and carries that perfect balance of playful energy and sweet, cuddly affection. She’s the kind of girl that enjoys being active but is just as happy curled up beside you.

She’s very smart and has been doing well with her obedience training, which really shows in how she interacts and responds.

Zara is up to date on her vaccines and deworming. She has not been spayed yet, so that will be the responsibility of her future family.

There are some posts that are easy to write… and then there are the ones that tug a little deeper on the heart. This is one of those.

Kodiak was originally purchased from Wendy at Smart Pomskies as a new little future stud prospect here at Maine Aim Ranch. From the beginning, he checked so many boxes — DNA, structure, coat, markings, temperament, size. But as he matured, it became clear that both testicles had not descended, a condition properly called cryptorchidism. Because of this, we’ve made the responsible decision not to include him in our breeding program.

And so now, this very special little boy is looking for the family he was always meant to love.

Kodiak is expected to mature right around 9–10 pounds and approximately 11–12 inches tall — a true toy-sized Pomsky with that irresistible husky expression in a perfectly petite package. His black and white coat carries absolutely classic northern markings, bold and symmetrical, the kind that always draws attention.

But beyond his looks — Kodiak's heart is what makes him unforgettable.

He is affectionate, gentle, and deeply people-oriented. Madison has spent time working with him, and he’s already showing lovely obedience foundations. He walks beautifully on leash, enjoys connection, and naturally wants to stay close to his person. He’s the kind of companion who bonds deeply and settles right into family life.

Letting him go is not easy for us. Truly.

If his retained testicles had descended, he would have had a permanent place here.

But we also know this:
