This is one of those. Maui was originally chosen to stay here with us at Maine Aim Ranch as a future stud prospect. From the beginning, he checked so many boxes — structure, coat, markings, temperament, size. But as he matured, it became clear that one testicle had not descended, a condition properly called cryptorchidism. Because of this, we’ve made the responsible decision not to include him in our breeding program. And so now, this very special little boy is looking for the family he was always meant to love. Maui is expected to mature right around 9–10 pounds and approximately 11–12 inches tall — a true toy-sized Pomsky with that irresistible husky expression in a perfectly petite package. His black and white coat carries absolutely classic northern markings, bold and symmetrical, the kind that always draws attention. But beyond his looks — Maui’s heart is what makes him unforgettable.He is affectionate, gentle, and deeply people-oriented. Madison has spent time working with him, and he’s already showing lovely obedience foundations. He walks beautifully on leash, enjoys connection, and naturally wants to stay close to his person. He’s the kind of companion who bonds deeply and settles right into family life. Letting him go is not easy for us. Truly. If his retained testicle had descended, he would have had a permanent place here. But we also know this:the right family is going to receive an extraordinary little dog.
